Important: by downloading, installing, or using MacPrune, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the application.
License
MacPrune is offered in two editions: a free Basic version and a paid Pro version. The Basic version may be used free of charge on any Mac you own or control. The Pro version is unlocked with a license purchased through our website as a one-time payment. Both editions are granted to you under a non-exclusive, non-transferable license. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application, and you may not resell or redistribute license keys.
Purchases & Refunds
Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. After checkout, your Pro license is delivered as a license key that you enter in the application to activate Pro features. If something goes wrong with your purchase or the app does not work as expected, contact our support team and we will work with you to resolve the issue, including refund requests where appropriate.
Disclaimer of Warranties
MacPrune is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we make every effort to ensure the application safely identifies and removes only unnecessary files, we cannot guarantee that no data loss will occur. Always maintain backups of important data before performing any cleanup operation.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall MacPrune, its developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing files before deletion. MacPrune provides recommendations and identifies files that are safe to remove, but the final decision to delete any file rests with you. We strongly recommend maintaining regular Time Machine backups.
Updates
We may release updates to improve functionality, performance, and security. While updates are optional, we recommend keeping the application current to benefit from the latest improvements and safety rules.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of MacPrune after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
